Osman YAŞAR

OSES Co-Founder & Chairman of the Board

Years ago, Osman Yaşar began selling çiğ köfte from a three-legged street cart suited to the conditions of the time. Today, as the founder of the first EU-standard çiğ köfte factory, he leads the çiğ köfte sector.

From Adıyaman, Osman Yaşar made great strides in a short time thanks to his visionary personality, contributing greatly to the formation and growth of the sector. From a street cart to the first çiğ köfte factory, he has achieved many firsts.

At the factory opening, OSES founder Osman Yaşar said: "We are living the joy of making this flavor beloved throughout Turkey. Today we serve with many branches and hundreds of employees nationwide. We have opened Turkey's first çiğ köfte factory — 3 floors, modern, to EU standards."

OSES Group continues to grow with the dealerships it grants across Turkey.

The OSES Timeline

OSES Group began producing çiğ köfte in 1993 with its founder Osman Yaşar.

1993

First Çiğ Köfte Machine

Wishing to bring the çiğ köfte flavor to more people, Osman Yaşar produced the first çiğ köfte machine.

1995

First Çiğ Köfte Store

Moving toward becoming a brand, OSES achieved another first in the sector with its first store.

1998

First Çiğ Köfte Factory

A major step for the sector, the first EU-standard çiğ köfte factory was established.

2001

First Foreign Investment

With two factories opened in Germany and China, OSES achieved another first and continues to grow its international presence.

2014

First Quality Award

OSES Çiğ Köfte was awarded the 2013 European Quality Award at the European Quality Summit held in Frankfurt, Germany.

2016

Longest Çiğ Köfte Wrap

In 2016, a 231-meter "World's Longest Çiğ Köfte Wrap" was made, entering the Guinness Book of Records.

2017

Largest Franchise Company

It rose to first place in Ekonomist Magazine's "100 Largest Franchise Companies" ranking.

Quality and Food Safety Policy

OSES çiğ köfte is meatless and made entirely from natural ingredients.
The EU-standard OSES factory produces with ISO 9001 Quality and 22000 Food Safety Management Systems.
All products are developed under the supervision of food engineers, with laboratory and R&D work.
All ingredients are first class; greens are hand-selected for freshness. Lavash and pomegranate molasses are produced in-house with the same quality approach.
The entire production process is monitored by a special inspection system.
Staff receive regular training and all branches are regularly audited.
No process below OSES standards is permitted.
